Mmesoma Ejikeme, the Anambra student who was accused by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) of faking her 2023 UTME result, has finally spoken out about how she got her score. In an interview with Sunrise Daily on Channels Television, Mmesoma revealed that she received an automated text message from JAMB indicating that her score was 249.

JAMB had earlier accused Mmesoma of sending a series of messages to the board's automated telecoms system, including results showing an aggregate of 362. However, Mmesoma denied the accusation, stating that the only SMS she sent to JAMB was through its support system.

Mmesoma explained that the score she saw through the USSD code was 360, but the feedback from JAMB showed her score as 249. She sent a text message to JAMB's support system to inquire about the discrepancy.

Mmesoma's case has generated controversy, with some people calling on JAMB to investigate the matter thoroughly. The incident has also raised concerns about the integrity of JAMB's examination process and the need for more transparency and accountability in the system.

In conclusion, Mmesoma's explanation sheds some light on the controversy surrounding her JAMB score. It remains to be seen how JAMB will respond to her explanation and whether there will be further investigations into the matter to ensure the integrity of the examination process.
