A couple from Marion County, Florida, has been arrested and charged with human trafficking in connection with the exploitation of three women. The Metropolitan Bureau of Investigation reported that Joselito Martinez and Tanya Wurster bonded the women out of jail and provided them with housing, but then allegedly forced them into prostitution.

Over the course of two years, the victims were reportedly controlled through the use of narcotics, threats of violence, and other forms of coercion. Martinez is also accused of shaving one victim's head and forcing two women to receive tattoos to brand them as his property.

Authorities believe there may be additional victims, as Martinez and Wurster were reportedly always looking for new victims. In addition, the couple's child was present in the home where the prostitution occurred. The Orange County Sheriff's Office Investigators are urging anyone who may have information about this case or other instances of human trafficking to come forward.
